Feb. 10, 2007

USAF Academy, Colo. - Jeremy Behm-Meyer broke a stalemate in the final match of the afternoon, winning his No. 6 singles match 6-2, 6-4 to send the University of Northern Colorado men's tennis team to their first ever Big Sky Conference victory, a 4-3 decision over Idaho State at the USAF Academy.

"We went down 1-3 after the first three singles spots," said Bears coach Scott Langs. "At the No. 4 spot, Austin Nunn did a great job of turning his match around after losing the first set and Eric Kinsey then played smart to win the number 5 spot," setting the stage for Behm-Meyer's victory.
