Men's Golf Signs Two

GREELEY, Colo. - The University of Northern Colorado announced the signing of National Letters of Intents in golf by two student-athletes today. Both students will be enrolled at Northern Colorado in the fall of 2008.

Kory Harrell - Colorado Springs, Colo. (Air Academy H.S.)

Harrell is a four year varsity letter for the Kadets and was captain during his senior year. He made 1^st team all city in his freshman, junior and senior years and 2^nd team all city his sophomore year. Harrell was the Metro League champion this year and was named Metro League Player of the Year. He also placed 5^th in the 2007 5A state golf tournament.

Kevin Collignon - Las Vegas, Nevada (Bishop Gorman H.S.)

Collignon has played golf for 11 years and was a student at the International Junior Golf Academy. He placed in the top ten in nine out of 14 tournaments in the 2006-07 year including tying for 2^nd in the International Junior Golf Tournament at Duke and placing 1^st in the Southern Nevada Tournament of Champions.

"We are fortunate to be able to sign two really outstanding young players," said head coach Wally Goodwin. "Both have significant national competition experience. I look forward to being able to see their names in results from tournaments starting next fall
