Northern Colorado men's and women's golf coaches Wally Goodwin and Brandon White today announced their schedules for the 2007-08 seasons.

 

Goodwin's men's team will compete for the newly formed America Sky Men's Golf Conference this season, with the championship taking place during the Purple And Red Invitational in Layton, Utah September 24-25 in the second event of the year. The team will also face some of the toughest competition in the nation during both the Pacific Invitational to conclude the fall season Nov. 5-7 and at the U.S. Intercollegiate hosted by Stanford in the spring season April 19-20.

 

Jenny Henderson will looked upon to lead the women's team in 2007-08.

White's women's team will play in five fall tournaments and six spring tournaments, including the Big Sky Conference Championship for the first time April 20-23 in Mesa, Arizona. Last season, the Bears consistently finished among the top three Big Sky teams in competition, but were not eligible for the league championship. During the fall, the team will compete twice in Colorado, at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Denver Sept. 16-18 and at the Heather Farr Memorial hosted by the University of Colorado Oct. 1-2.
