SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - After day one at the Cowboy Open the University of Northern Colorado men's golf team sits in 20^th place with 603 strokes. Grand Canyon University is the current leader with 548 strokes.

Leading the Bears is freshman Stephen Bidne who is tied in 50^th place with 144 strokes in individual competition. Nate Pistacchio of UC Davis and Paul Peterson of Oregon State are tied for first with 134.

Round three of the Cowboy Open will be completed today in Scottsdale.
