COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - The University of Northern Colorado men's golf team won the CSM Invitational on April 1-2, with a final team score of 898, 34-over par. The event was opened with 18 holes on Sunday at Bear Creek Country Club and concluded with 36 holes on Monday at Buffalo Run Golf Course.

Eric Higgins won individual honors with a 3 over-par score of 219. Fellow Bear Ron Alford took third, with a three-day score 226.

Regis University came in second place with 927, Colorado School of Mines placed third with 930, followed by Colorado Christian University with 937.
