the third round of the Wolf Pack Classic in Reno, Nev.
2006-07: Competed in all five of the Bears'
spring-season tournaments... Best finish came at the season-ending
NCAA Division I Independent championship tournament, where his 216
three-day total tied him for sixth... Best round score was a 67,
which came in the second round of the same tournament... He also
helped UNC to a third-place team finish at the tournament... His
other top-50 finish (46th, 218 three-day total) came at the
University of Wyoming Cowboy Classic.
2005-06: Played in just one varsity event, the
NCAA Division I Independent championship tournament, but placed
23rd (227 three-day total)... Played in one "B" team event, placing
20th (159 two-day total) at the Colorado Mines/Regis Invitational.
2004-05: Did not compete in any events.
2003-04: Competed in five events for the Bears,
totaling 14 rounds... Finished season with a 78.7-stroke average --
eighth best on the team... Best event finish of the season came at
the UNC Invitational, where he placed 11th (151 two-day total)...
Low round of the season (1-over-par 72) came in the opening round
of Denver University's Steve Kerr Classic.
High school: Was a four-year letterwinner for
Liberty High School in Colorado Springs, Colo.... Was a three-time
all-area selection... Finished eighth in the Metro League his
senior season, 12th his junior season and eighth his sophomore
season... Helped Liberty High in 2002 to a second-place regional
finish and fourth-place state finish... Also was a three-time
all-state academic-team selection.
