High School: All-Colorado and Colorado Offensive Player of the Year by both the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News... also 5A Player of the Year... Huskies were undefeated (6-0) in the Continental Conference, 13-1 overall and won the 5A state championship... Rushed for 2,857 yards on 370 carries (7.7 yards/carry) and scored 39 touchdowns as a senior... Had eight games with 200 or more yards during and a pair of games with 300 or more yards, including a season-high 329 yards... Rushed for 882 yards in four playoff games in 2005 (200-plus in each of the final three games) including 239 yards in the state championship contest... Rushed for 639 yards in 147 carries as a junior... 2006 National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete (one of 11 in the state).
