Corte McGuffey
Position: Quarterbacks Coach

Corte McGuffey returns for his second season on the Northern Colorado staff as quarterbacks coach. McGuffey enjoyed an outstanding career at UNC which was capped in 1999 with his winning the Harlon Hill Trophy, which is given to the Division II player of the year. A four-year letterwinner (1996-99), he was a two-time consensus All-American and earned several national and conference academic awards. He holds numerous UNC records, including career passing yards (6,975) and career passing touchdowns (75).

Last summer, McGuffey participated in the St. Louis Rams' training camp. He also played for the New York/New Jersey Hitmen of the XFL last season.

McGuffey, 24, earned his bachelor's degree from UNC in May, 2000. He is single and resides in Greeley.
