1997: Opened as the starter, but injured his knee in the first game of the season, causing him to miss three games ... was the third-leading tackler in the playoffs for UNC with 29 ... finished regular season with 34 tackles (16 solos), one sack and two tackles-for-loss.

1996: Medical redshirt season ... saw limited action due to injury ... recorded a total of five tackles, including two tackles-for-loss in only game.

1995: Ranked 10th on the team in tackles with 31 (18 solos) ... recorded a sack and a fumble recovery at South Dakota State (Oct. 28, 1995) ... finished the season with two tackles-for-loss.

1994: Redshirt season - named scout team defensive player of the year.

High School: Earned class 6A all-state honorable mention honors in 1993 ... led Rocky Mountain High School in tackles and was named most valuable defensive player as a junior and senior ... also a first team all-conference baseball performer ... HS coach: Tom Michoski.
