Asst. Coach Brett Harvey


Brett Harvey enters his 10th season on the Northern Colorado football staff and his fifth as a full-time assistant. He oversees the Bears' offensive linemen and tight ends as well as handling several administrative duties within the program. During his tenure at UNC, Harvey has helped tutor outstanding offensive linemen including Andrew Martin, who signed with the Houstan Texans this past offeseason, Tony Ramirez, who saw action in the NFL with the Detroit Lions, and Tashe Williams, who had a tryout with the New Orleans Saints. He also coached two-time All-American Ryan Burkholder who anchored the team's offensive line from 1997-2000. Harvey helped in the development of tight end Andy Haase. Harvey played offensive line for the Bears from 1990-94, earning honorable mention All-North Central Conference honors as a senior. He has served as an instructor at Colorado State's summer football camps the last several years. He also oversees UNC's football camp and coordinates the Offensive Line clinic which is held on campus each spring. A native of Longmont, Colo., Harvey, 32, earned his bachelor's degree from UNC. He is single and lives in Greeley.
