2007: Saw action in 11 of the 12 games, catching two passes for 21 yards... His long reception of the year was 14 yards against Sacramento State... Is also extremely active in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and will serve as co-president in 2008 with softball's Hillarie Van Otterloo.

2006: Missed the entire season due to a concussion.

2005: Redshirted.

High School: Helped lead the Green Mountain Rams to a 12-2 record (7-1 conference) and the Class 4A state playoffs... Two best receiving games came in the playoffs against Grand Junction Central (63 yards) and Greeley West (40 yards).

Personal: Born Oct. 3, 1986... Son of John and Kathy Emmerling... Is majoring in communication studies with an emphasis in human communication.
