Downing Announces 21 To National Letters Of Intent
University of Northern Colorado head football coach Scott Downing announced the signing of 21 players to a National Letter of Intent. The Bears have a balanced recruiting class of in state and out of state talent, signing 11 who played their high school ball in Colorado and 10 from Arizona, California and Oklahoma.

Bears Have 31 Named To Big Sky Fall Academic
The Big Sky Conference has announced the members of the 2009 Fall All-Academic teams for men's and women's cross country, football and women's soccer and volleyball. Northern Colorado had 31 student-athletes named to the team.

Vote For Vincent Jackson in the Vizio TVP Award
Help former Bear Vincent Jackson win the Vizio Top Value Perfomer in the NFL. Jackson is one of five finalists for the award, which Vizio presents on an annual basis.

Three Named To NFFCC All-Colorado Team
The National Football Foundation-Colorado Chapter released its 2009 NFF All-Colorado Team and the University of Northern Colorado had three named to the Second Team. Senior wide receiver Alex Thompson, junior linebacker John Eddy and junior cornerback Korey Askew were all honored.
