Northern Colorado head football coach Scott Downing recently announced the addition of Greg Peterson and Brad Bedell to the coaching staff.

Spring Football Practice Begins On March 23
Head Coach Scott Downing has announced the practice schedule for the 2010 spring season. The Bears take the field for the first time on March 23 on the synthetic fields in the Butler-Hancock Sports Complex.

Downing Announces 21 To National Letters Of Intent
University of Northern Colorado head football coach Scott Downing announced the signing of 21 players to a National Letter of Intent. The Bears have a balanced recruiting class of in state and out of state talent, signing 11 who played their high school ball in Colorado and 10 from Arizona, California and Oklahoma.

Bears Have 31 Named To Big Sky Fall Academic
The Big Sky Conference has announced the members of the 2009 Fall All-Academic teams for men's and women's cross country, football and women's soccer and volleyball. Northern Colorado had 31 student-athletes named to the team.
