Named to the 2009 Phil
Steele Preseason All-Big Sky Conference First Team
2008: Saw action in all 11
games, making 13-of-17 field goals and all 20 point-after
attempts... Also scored on a two-point conversion, running the ball
across the goal line against Idaho State... Named to the Big Sky
All-Academic team... Kicked off twice for the Bears, averaging 54.5
yards per kickoff... Twice during the year made three field goals
in a game, at UC Davis and against Eastern Washington... Made a
long of 38 yards at Weber State.
2007: Was the placekicker in
five of the team's 12 games, making one field goal from 36 yards
against Sacramento State... Also made nine of 10 point after
attempts on the year and finished the season with 12 points
scored... Handled six kickoffs for an average of 46 yards per
kickoff... Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team.
2006: Handled the punting
duties at Texas State on Sept. 16 after an injury to starting
punter Rafael Mendoza... Pinned two of his three punts inside the
20-yard line.
2005: Redshirted.
High School: Was voted Special
Teams MVP at Greeley West... Earned a spot on the All-Weld County
team... Scored 69 total points as a senior, with 21 coming in the
playoffs... Made 9-of-13 field goals with a career-long of 44
yards... Drilled 42-of-45 extra point attempts, including a stretch
of 24 straight... Made four field goals and an extra point to tally
13 points in a playoff game to set the CHSAA all-time record...
Member of National Honor Society... Two-time academic all-state
selection... Earned letters in track & field (3) and football
(1).
