2008: Tied the school, Big Sky and NCAA record for a kickoff return when he returned one 100 yards to start the game against Northern Arizona... It was the first TD return for the Bears since 2002... The only game he didn't start on defense was the Northern Arizona contest after he had the return... Tied for the team lead with three interceptions and was second with six pass breakups... Tallied a season-best seven tackles at UC Davis, all solo stops... He also had his longest interception return against the Aggies at 18 yards.

2007: Named the Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week after the Bears' 16-13 victory over Montana State in which he recorded two interceptions, including a career-long return of 21 yards... He also had a career-best nine tackles in the win... Played in all 12 games, starting in five... Finished sixth on the team with 47 tackles and led the team with eight pass breakups, twice as many as any other player on the roster... Blocked two kicks, a PAT at Idaho State and a FG against Sacramento State... Also forced one fumble and recovered another.

2006: Was a member of the scout team for the Bears.

2005: Redshirted.

High School: Three-sport star as a prep... Led the Bulldogs to a 6-1 conference record and 8-3 overall record as a senior... The Bulldogs also earned a berth in the 2004 state playoffs.

Personal: Son of Sherman Wofford and Suzanne Gomez... Is majoring in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and advertising and a minor in communication studies.
