2008: Made the switch to linebacker in the spring and with it changed his jersey number to 7... The number is to honor his current mentor and former Bears' standout Tom Beck, who was quarterback from 1992-96... Played in all 11 games, mostly as a special teams player... Did see action at quarterback in three games, rushing four times for minus one yard and attempting one pass.



2007: Played in 10 of the team's 12 games on special teams.

2006: Redshirted.

High School: Was a four year letterwinner at a Northridge... A two-year team captain... Led team to conference title in 2003... Set school record with five total touchdowns (threw for four) in a single game and for 100 yard rushing games in a season in 2005... Also lettered three years in baseball as a centerfielder and pitcher... Helped baseball team to district championship and a state final four appearance in 2004.
