2007: As a true freshman, appeared in 17 games with no decisions and one save... Pitched 15.1 innings with 14 strikeouts and walked seven... Was one of three on the team to record a save.

High School: 2006 graduate of Heritage... Pitched and played first base for the Eagles and was also a forward on the basketball team... Struck out 56 and walked just five with a 3.20 ERA and an 8-1 record in his senior season en route to being named a first-team all-Continental League... Appeared in the Top 50 game and was a team captain his final year... Helped lead the team to a conference championship and 5A state runners-up as a sophomore in 2004.
