2006 (at Dixie State): Posted an ERA of 2.79 with an 8-3 record... Started all 13 games he appeared in, throwing five complete games with four shutouts... Was second on the team with 80.2 innings pitched... Struck out 58 with just 22 walks issued and had one pickoff.

2005 (at Dixie State): Second on the club with a 1.46 ERA and led the team with 10 victories (10-2)... Appeared in 14 games with 12 starts, throwing seven complete games and three shutouts... Walked just 18 in 74 frames thrown, helping the team to a 41-14 record... Lefties hit just .183 against him and he had a 3.1:1 strikeout to walk ratio.

High School: Graduated from Corona Del Sol in Chandler, Ariz... Member of the Junior and Senior Sunbelt team and a member of the Super 50 Team... Tied the school record with 15 strikeouts in a game his senior season.
