2007: Appeared in 13 games, starting in 10 for the Bears... Struck out 50 with just 19 walks issued in 63.1 frames thrown... Posted a record of 1-2 and had the team's third lowest ERA.

2006 (Mesa CC): Threw 75 innings on his way to a 7-2 record and 2.65 ERA, striking out 46... Helped lead the team to a 44-21 record and an appearance in the NJCAA Division II World Series.

2005 (Mesa CC): Helped lead the team to a regional championship and appearance in the NJCAA Division II World Series... In 34 innings pitched, struck out 32, while walking just nine with an ERA of 2.12 and tallied a 3-0 record.

High School: 2004 graduate of Pomona... Played four different positions for the Panthers, in second base, shortstop, third base and pitcher... As a senior in 2004, had a 9-1 record and 2.66 ERA in 50 innings of work on his way to earning all-state honors... Team was 19-5 that season, 9-1 in the JeffCo Conference... Pomona won the 5A state championship his junior year and was ranked No. 22 nationally.
