Bryan Applewhite begins his second season as a graduate assistant coach at UNC. His primary responsibility will be working with the Bears' runningbacks and fullbacks.

Applewhite enjoyed a solid career at fullback for the Bears from 1993-97. He earned a bachelor's degree from UNC and is currently working towards completion of his master's degree in sports administration.

A native of Brighton, Colorado, Applewhite, 25, is single and resides in Greeley.
