Baseball Falls In Longest Inning Game In School History
The longest game in school history in terms of innings took place on Sunday as the Northern Colorado baseball team fell 4-3 to Sam Houston State in 15 innings in the Bears’ final game of the Bearkat Invitational.

Baseball Wins Both On Day Two Of Bearkat Invitational
An offensive explosion and a strong pitching performance gave the Northern Colorado baseball team a pair of wins in the Bearkat Invitational on Saturday. The Bears (3-4) defeated Creighton 10-3 in the opener, snapping a 14-game losing streak to the Bluejays, then won a 5-3 decision at Sam Houston State in the nightcap.

Big Inning Again Hurts Baseball
For the second time this season, the Northern Colorado baseball team was done-in by a big inning, this time a seven-run fifth inning for the Creighton Bluejays as they won 15-8 in the opening game of the 2010 Bearkat Invitational on the campus of Sam Houston State.
