Jeremy Hayden joined Northern Colorado's football coaching staff as an assistant coach in March 2012 as an Offensive Assistant under coach Earnest Collins Jr.

Hayden has coached at the High School level for the past 10 years. Hayden spent the past five season's at Greeley West High School as the Offensive Line Coach. During his five seasons at Greeley west, Hayden has also held various other titles, including tight end's coach, junior varsity head coach and offensive coordinator, freshman offensive coordinator and assistant varsity linebackers coach.

Prior to his stint with Greeley West, Hayden spent one year as the varsity linebackers and varsity wide receivers coach at Windsor High School.  Hayden also spent four years at Dayspring Christian high school, serving as defensive coordinator, varsity linebackers and varsity wide receivers coach.     

Off the field, Hayden has also coached various special Olympic activities such as gymnastics and powerlifting for the past 16 years.
