GREELEY – Northern Colorado football coach Earnest Collins Jr. has announced that the Bears' football camp Tuesday, June 18, in Colorado Springs, at Vista Ridge High School, will be free to all attendees who have had to evacuate their homes because of fires in the area.

"We want to give those kids a chance to take their minds off things for a while," Collins said. "Now they can come out and talk and play football for the afternoon without the worry."

The money from those who have already paid, or will pay for the camp will also go directly to the Red Cross to assist those in the Colorado Springs area who need it.

Registration for the camp begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Vista Ridge High School (6888 Black Forest Road). The camp is for youth, ages 14-17 and runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For questions about the camp please contact Terrance Robinson at 970-351-1875 or via email at terrance.robinson@unco.edu.
