2011: Played in all 11 games as a true freshman... Had at least one tackle in each of the final four games of the year, including two against North Dakota... Saw action on several different special teams.

High School: As a senior was named an all-state honorable mention... Earned four letters in football and was also a member of the track & field team... An all-conference pick in both track & football and was an honorable mention selection to the Academic All-State team... Played both running back and safety for the Mustangs, but will concentrate on defense at Northern Colorado.

Personal: Born April 22 in San Diego... Is the oldest of three children of Tim and Shannon Spencer with a younger sister, Mallery and a younger brother, Drew... Hopes to major in business administration.
