Getting to know: Patrick Walker
GREELEY, Colo. – Football camp has officially begun at the University of Northern Colorado. To celebrate the 2011 season, each practice prior to school starting uncbears.com will be highlighting a different senior on the roster. Each senior will be asked a series of questions and then those same questions will be asked to a roommate or friend on the team, as well as another player of the same position to test how well they know each other.
First on the docket is senior wide receiver Patrick Walker. Walker changed his jersey to #1 in the offseason, from #11 and is the top returning receiver on the team. Last year he caught 37 passes for 570 yards and six touchdowns. He also had 18 kickoff returns for 349 yards and was named an honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference selection.
We polled roommate and junior quarterback Matt Baca and fellow returner and wide receiver Dominic Gunn to see how well they know Walker off the field.
