2009 Big Sky All-Conference Honorable Mention: Nov. 24, 2009

2011:

2010: Moved to offensive guard, playing in 10 games and starting in nine...  Helped the rushing game increase over 20 yards per game from 2009 to 2010.

2009: Started all 11 games at center... Named an honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference selection... Helped hold opposing defenses to just 19 quarterback sacks, the second-lowest total in the Big Sky.

2008: Played in 10 games, splitting time at center for the Bears with Tim McGraw... Started in five contests... Helped increase the offensive production over 85 yards per game on the front line and snapped to quarterback Bryan Waggener who threw for the sixth most yards in school history.

2007: Redshirted.

High School: Was a member of the varsity team for three seasons... Recorded 30 pancake blocks and allowed no quarterback sacks in 2006... Was given an outstanding player award at the 2006 Northern Colorado summer camp... Member of the 1,100 pound weight club at Cherry Creek... Was a member of the 2004 state championship runner-up team, helping lead the club to a 12-2 record.

Personal: One of two sons of Devonne Marcove and Shep Shapiro, with a brother, Ben... Born Nov. 6 in Denver... Is majoring in business administration with an emphasis in management.
