Honors and Awards

2011:

2010: Missed the entire year due to illness.

2009: Played in one game on special teams for the Bears.

2008: Redshirted.

High School: Earned three letters in football and one in baseball for the Buffaloes... As a senior was an honorable mention all-city selection as well as an all-conference pick as a linebacker... Notched 76 tackles, forced and recovered three fumbles and had four sacks in his final season... Earned an honorable citizenship award his senior year and was named to the honor roll... Also played in the outfield for the baseball team.

Personal: Born Oct. 20 in Fort Wayne, Ind... Is the youngest of three sons of Ed and Emelia Truett... Plans on majoring in criminal justice at Northern Colorado.
