Honors and Awards

2011:

High School: Was a first-team all-Dade selection in his senior season... Was also team captain... In his final year had 52 receptions for 899 yards and 10 touchdowns... Helped lead the Buccaneer’s to the district championship in both 2009 and 2010... Was also an honorable mention all-conference pick in basketball... On the gridiron, saw action at wide receiver, defensive back, kickoff returner and punt returner and played both point and shooting guards in hoops.

Personal: Born July 1 in Miami, Fla... Is the youngest of four children of Virginia Nelson with three older sisters, Carmela, Shacovia and Jacovia... Hopes to major in criminal justice.
