2009: Made the transition from defensive end to tight end during the season and then during the spring, moved again to fullback... Played in 10 games, missing only the season opener, seeing action mostly on special teams... Caught one pass for 13 yards and had one tackle.

2008: Was a member of the scout team.

2007: Did not play in a game for the Bears.

2006: Redshirted.

High School: Was a three-time First-Team All-Conference selection in football, as well as a two-time All-Conference pick in track & field for the Bulldogs... Was a two-year captain in both football and track & field as well as a three-year captain in basketball... Played both linebacker and wide receiver for the football team, where he earned four letters.

Personal: Is one of five children of Rick and Cheryl Palmer... Was born Jan. 21, 1988 in Oklahoma City... Is majoring in business administration with an emphasis in management.
