High School: Played football and basketball and competed in track & field for the Warriors, earning three letters in each... On the gridiron, was the kicker and punter as well as a receiver and defensive back... Named to the Colorado All-State 3A team as a punter... The Tri-Valley Conference’s special teams player of the year, he averaged 36.4 yards per punt in his senior campaign... Made all of his point-after attempts in both junior and senior seasons... Was a two-time all-conference selection in football and a Northern League All-Conference pick in basketball as a senior.

Personal: Is the oldest of three children of Andy and Shannon Ellingsen with younger siblings Ryleigh, Max and Sadie... Was born in Cherry Point, N.C. on Aug. 30, 1991.
