2008: Played in 10 games, starting three at center for the Bears... Helped increase the offensive production over 85 yards per game on the front line and snapped to quarterback Bryan Waggener who threw for the sixth most yards in school history.

2007: Redshirted.

High School: Was a member of the varsity team for three seasons... Recorded 30 pancake blocks and allowed no quarterback sacks in 2006... Was given an outstanding player award at the 2006 Northern Colorado summer camp... Member of the 1,100 pound weight club at Cherry Creek... Was a member of the 2004 state championship runner-up team, helping lead the club to a 12-2 record.

Personal: One of two sons of Devonne Marcove and Shep Shapiro... Born in Denver... Is majoring in business administration with an emphasis in management.
