High School: Was a first-team all-region selection in both his junior and senior seasons... Also named an honorable mention All-State pick his final two years... Led the team in tackles as a junior and amassed a team-leading nine sacks... Helped the Jackrabbits to the state playoffs all three seasons and was team captain as a senior... Also played for the Mesa Knights rugby club.
