Kim Schiemenz Heptathlon -- Final Results
GREELEY, Colo. -- Former UNC performer and current track and field assistant coach Kim Schiemenz claimed the heptathlon title at the Bears' Kim Schiemenz Heptathlon championship on Friday. Schiemenz scored 5,808 points, which is the second-highest total in the nation so far this season.
The Bears' top finisher was junior Jill Fadenrecht, who scored a career-best 4,704 points in the meet. The point total was also high enough for Fadenrecht to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Division II National Championship meet.
