2003: Appeared in 17 games, the sixth-most ever in a season at UNC, starting 15 ... shared the team lead with eight victories which was the eighth most in a single season in school history ... quadrupled his win total from his freshman season ... was second on the team in innings pitched and strikeouts ... pitched a shared shutout with John Nielsen on Apr. 20 at South Dakota; went seven innings, allowing five hits and striking out four ... won his first five starts of the season ... struck out a career-high seven batters in 12-7 victory at nationally ranked Southern Colorado (Feb. 8) ... threw a complete game against Minnesota State (Apr. 26), allowing six hits and two runs while striking out four.

2002: Appeared in 15 games, tying Curt Borland for the team lead ... started 11 games, going the distance in two of them ... had a 2-5 overall record and 6.79 ERA ... struck out 33 batters in 59.2 innings.
