In just two shorts years with the program, proved to be one of the top players in program history ... played in 108 of a possible 111 games during his career, making 107 starts ... excellent defensive first baseman, committed only eighth errors and made nearly 900 putouts in his two years (.992 fielding percentage) ... had 47 multi-hit and 33 multi-RBI games during his two-year career ... started 86 of his final 87 games of his career, including a streak of 66 in a row over the end of his junior and beginning of his senior season ... ended career by hitting safely in 33 of his last 38 and 70 of his last 81 games overall; had a hit in 86 of his 108 total games (79.6%).
