Finished career at UNC ranked fifth all-time in strikeouts (206), fourth in appearances (55) and fifth in innings pitched (268.0). Signed a professional contract with the Boston Red Sox in June of 2003 and was assigned to Gulf Coast Red Sox of Rookie League in Ft. Myers, Fla.

2003: Second-team ABCA All-Central Region ... All-NCC second-team selection ... recorded 8-7 record and 6.00 E.R.A. in 19 appearances ... 19 appearances ranked third for a season in UNC history ... had a career-high 87 strikeouts which was fourth most in a season at UNC ... eight victories tied him for eighth most in a season at UNC and 96.0 innings pitched was fourth most in school history ... named NCC Pitcher of the Week on April 7 after pitching a five-hit, complete game victory in 9-1 win over St. Cloud State; struck out a career-high 11 batters in that contest ... allowed only three hits in complete game win over South Dakota on April 20 ... pitched six strong innings, allowing three hits an no runs in NCC Tournament Championship game.

2002: Appeared in a team-high 15 games, starting 12 ... compiled a 3-6 overall record ... led the team in complete games (6), innings pitched (73.2) and strikeouts (69) ... had a 6.11 E.R.A. which is tops among returning players ... threw seven complete innings in 10-5 victory over Fort Hays (Mar. 9).

2001: Compiled a record of 3-3 ... pitched 42.0 innings in nine appearances and struck out 25 batters ... started eight games for the Bears ... earned a 11-10 win over South Dakota which was their only win over the Coyotes that season.

2000: Member of the Bears' starting rotation, seeing action in 12 games as a freshman with 10 starts ... ranked third on the team in innings pitched (56.1), complete games (3) and strikeouts (25) ... earned a complete-game victory in a 6-2 win over North Dakota State (Apr. 29) in which he allowed two earned runs on eight hits ... notched a season-high six strikeouts and earned a no-decision in his college debut, a 10-7 win over Midland Lutheran (Feb. 19).

1999: Redshirt.

High School: Earned three letters each in basketball and baseball, and one in soccer while attending Centaurus High School in Broomfield ... two-time all-conference and all-state selection in baseball ... helped team to three conference titles.
