Division I All-Independent first-team selection ... played in and started 49 games ... missed three games because of injury which snapped his 96-game consecutive start streak ... led team in runs (63) was second in batting (.379), hits (75), doubles (15), RBI (52), total bases (129), slugging (.652) and on-base percentage (.448) and third in home runs (11) ... among D-I Independent players ranked second in RBI (1.06/game), third in batting and home runs (0.22/game) ... finished outstanding two-year career ranked fifth in career slugging (.678), eight in career RBI (122) and home runs (24) and ninth in batting (.383) ... totals of 75 hits (fifth), 63 runs (third), 129 total bases (fifth) and 198 at-bats (fifth) all ranked in the UNC top 10 season rankings ... had a season and team-high 19-game hitting streak which ended at No. 19 Nebraska (Apr. 27), which was only one game shy of the record for consecutive games with a hit ... hit in 27 of 28 games during that stretch with the lone game without a hit being on Mar. 13 at Air Force when he walked three times in five plate appearances ... had 21 multi-hit and 13 multi-RBI games ... had a hit in 42 of 49 games, reached base safely in 46 of 49 contests and scored a run in 38 of 49 games ... drove in four RBI against each Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (April 24) and Sacramento State (May 16) ... was 2-3 with three runs, four RBI and a pair of home runs against Southern Utah (Mar. 20) ... had four hits in a game against each Fort Hays State (Feb. 14) and Southern Utah (Feb. 17) ... earned All-Tournament honors at the Iowa Hawkeye Classic after hitting .500 (7-14) with four RBI and a home run ... named D-I Independent Player of the Week on Apr. 27 after hitting .500 (7-14) with eight runs, two doubles, a triple, home runs, eight RBI, 1.000 slugging percentage and .611 on-base percentage while leading UNC to three wins in four games against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi ... made only three errors in 106 chances in the field while adding four outfield assists.

2003: Rawlings/ABCA second-team All-American ... ACBA All-Central Region first-team ... All-NCC first-team selection ... one of two players to start and play in all 55 games ... set UNC season records for runs (68, breaking 42-year-old record) and walks (50) ... also set NCC records for walks and runs in a season in conference-only games and was NCC Player of the Week on April 2 ... also led UNC team in home runs and on-base percentage and was second in triples, RBI, slugging percentage and total bases and third in batting average, hits and doubles ... had a hitting streak of 11 games, which ranked third on the team; hit safely in 44 of UNC's 55 games ... was 7-13 and hit four home runs and drove in 10 RBI in three-game series against Division I Air Force at beginning of season ... was 5-7 with four runs in 31-9 victory over Metro State (Apr. 8) ... earned academic honors for both Academic All-NCC team and Verizon Academic All-District VII team ... second on team with 17 multiple RBI games, including seven games of four-plus RBI, and was fourth with 17 multiple hit games.

Prior to UNC: Attended Northeastern Junior College ... selected first-team all-region as a sophomore and second-team all-region as a freshman ... led team in batting average (.440), home runs (13) and RBI (55) ... Best Academic and Mechanical Student and NAPA Student of the Year as a sophomore.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball at Haxtun High School ... named to the all-conference team all four years and was selected to the all-state team his freshman and senior years ... team captain for two years ... holds the bench press record at school with 400 pounds and the school dips record with 70 ... named Best Mechanic and Woodworking Student as a freshman and junior.
