Few spots remain for holiday camps
Northern Colorado baseball coach Carl Iwasaki says a few spots remain for the baseball holiday camps which begin on Thursday.
Dec. 20 will be the pitching/catching skills camp for ages 8-up, while Dec. 22-23 will be the Dave Keller hitting camp for ages 6-up.
The camp will take place in the Bishop-Lehr Hitting Facility, located in the old University High gym on the UNC campus.
In addition to the Northern Colorado coaches and current student-athletes, the camps will feature Keller, the Chicago Cubs assistant hitting instructor and Chris Knabenshue, a scout for the Atlanta Braves. Both are Northern Colorado alumni.
