Rain washes away Sunday baseball

CHICAGO -- Heavy rains in the Chicago area Sunday washed away the final two games of the series between Northern Colorado and Chicago State.

The Bears won the first two games in the series, 7-3 and 14-2, to increase their winning streak to 10 overall and 14 straight in Great West Conference play.

Northern Colorado will conclude its regular season with a four-game series at Utah Valley from Thursday to Saturday, May 19-21, before heading to the Great West Conference Tournament in Grand Forks, N.D.
