2007: Started in 49 of the team's 51 games, mostly at first base... His 193 at bats ranks 10th on the single-season charts at NC... Hit .285 with nine home runs and 41 RBI, which was second on the team... Reached base safely in 44 of the 49 games in which he played and was second on the team in sacrifice flies... Went 5-for-6 with six RBI, four runs scored and three home runs in the first round of the Division I Independent Invitational against NJIT.

2006: Division I All-Independent Honorable Mention selection... Played in 50 games, starting 38, (26 at first base, 11 at third base and one at designated hitter)... Led the team in doubles (15) and walks (27), was second in on-base percentage (.429) and third in hitting (.315) and slugging (.507)... Named D-I Independent Newcomer of the Week on May 16 after hitting .429 (6-for-14) with two runs, three doubles, two RBI, a .643 slugging percentage against Wichita State and Kansas... Hit a game-winning two-RBI double in the fifth inning of the Bears 7-4 win at Big 12 Tournament Champion Kansas.
