Courtney Smith Leaves Northern Colorado Basketball Program

GREELEY, Colo. – Junior center Courtney Smith has decided to depart from the Northern Colorado women's basketball team, Kamie Ethridge announced Saturday morning. Smith, chose to leave the program for personal reasons.
"Courtney Smith has determined it is in her best interest to step away from UNC basketball," Northern Colorado head women's basketball coach Kamie Ethridge stated. "We respect Courtney's decision and wish her the best in her future pursuits."
Northern Colorado is currently 13-6 overall, with a 5-3 Big Sky record. The Bears face Eastern Washington Saturday at noon inside Bank of Colorado Arena.
