@UNCOSwim_Dive Signs Five New Recruits for for Fall of 2018

GREELEY, Colo. - Northern Colorado Swimming and Diving received the signed letters of intend of four new recruits for the 2018-19 season. Coach Lisa Ebeling will be adding additional depth to a young and talented squad.
The Bears added four swimmers and one diver, three of the signees are Colorado natives and two international students.
"We could not be happier with the athletes that we signed in the November period," Ebeling said. "They add a combination of top talent and depth to our program that will help us take a huge step forward in the 2018-2019 season. This group of young women truly personify our core values of attitude, integrity and focus and bring very dynamic personalities to the table that will make for an exciting four years ahead!"

"Nicole brings some much-needed depth to our sprint relays. She is steadily improving, and although she has already had several impressive accomplishments in her swimming career, we believe she is just getting started," Ebeling said. "I am very excited to watch her develop during her time at UNC. Her gracious personality and her enthusiasm for the sport of swimming will add a positive element to our training environment as well"

 "Rose is one of the premier middle-distance swimmers in Colorado," Ebeling said. "We are thrilled that she has chosen to become a Bear and represent her home state through her athletic pursuits in college. I knew we needed to get Rose to join our family after watching one practice… I believe her work ethic and her drive are unparalleled and I am excited to work with her over the next four years"

- Has achieved all of her personal bests within the past year.
- Before focusing on swimming she excelled in cross country and track, winning district championships in both cross country and high jump.

- Swims for Anna and George Heidinger at Pikes Peak Athletics swimming club.
- Plans to study exercise science at UNC
