Heather Kennedy enters her fourth year as the director of media relations.

Kennedy's responsibilities include the promotion of the coaches and student-athletes of all 19 sports, as well as statistical and historical data for the athletics department. She is also the liaison with the Hall of Fame.

Kennedy joins the Northern Colorado staff from Colorado State, where she spent seven years as the assistant athletic media relations director, handling myriad sports for the Rams, as well as the media relations budget.

Prior to Colorado State, Kennedy was a member of the Big Sky Conference media relations staff for four seasons, beginning as an intern in 1996 and moving up to co-director by the time of her departure in 2000.

Kennedy graduated from Doane College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics in 1996 and resides in Greeley.
