After spending two seasons as an assistant for Northern Colorado's men's basketball team, Terry Anderson moved into the the Bears' marketing and promotions department in May 2010. In February 2011 he was promoted to director of marketing and sales.

"I am very excited to be able to explore another aspect of athletics,” Anderson said. “This experience will broaden my understanding of how an athletic department works as a whole. I believe this opportunity is going to help my be more well-rounded and prepared for any future endeavor I might take on in the athletic realm.”

Anderson finished his Northern Colorado men's basketball playing career in 2008 before moving to the coaching bench prior to the 2008-09 season. He was an undergraduate assistant coach his first year in Greeley but was promoted to Assistant Coach prior to the 2009-10 campaign.

His primary responsibilities with the men's basketball program included assisting with the team's film exchange, self scouting and planning the team's vacation meals. He also took care of the former-player database, assisted with the Bears' annual summer basketball camps and helped with practice logs and individual workouts.

On the court, Anderson was one of the Bears' best on-ball defenders. He came to Northern Colorado after spending two seasons at Trinidad (Colo.) State Junior College. He started 25 games in his two seasons in the Blue and Gold, averaging 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds. He finished his two-year career with 41 steals and 100 assists.
