The University of Northern Colorado department of athletics hosted a new student-athlete orientation on Monday evening at Butler-Hancock Athletic Center and Nottingham Field.

The student-athletes who were new to the Northern Colorado Athletics family, notably freshman and transfers, participated in an orientation that included topics on campus resources, responsibilities as a student-athlete, drug testing and safety and student-athlete welfare.

Following the event, the newcomers met up with all their teammates for a pizza dinner at Nottingham Field.
